TIME SAVING TIP – SHEET METAL

To dull edges on sheet metal, shape W222 in Medium is the most common point used. Using this rubber point will allow you to dull the edge in one run instead of breaking the edge on the top and then bottom of the sheet metal separately.

Using your die grinder with the point, simply run the point over the edge of the sheet metal. This process will round the edge of the metal and create a groove in the point.

As the groove in the mounted point wears, just move down the point to create a new groove, and so on.
